The situation

What finance needed to control

A growing product range created repeated maintenance across commerce and finance. Product variants, pricing and availability had to remain consistent as the business entered new markets.

Each market also added an entity, currency and local requirements. Group reporting, stock movement and forecasting needed a repeatable structure.

What TechFarben did

Built the operating path end to end

  • Designed the finance and commerce layers as one programme with shared product and transaction definitions.
  • Configured entities, currencies, intercompany stock movement and consolidation inside one group model.
  • Structured product and variant data for a catalogue with more than 2,000 lines.
  • Connected storefront orders, inventory and fulfilment to finance without re-keying.
  • Documented the operating model and trained teams across markets.

The result

What changed in operation

The business has expanded across five countries on one operating layer. Product, inventory, sales and finance data follow a consistent definition across markets.

The operating model is documented across markets so new joiners inherit a defined process.

“TechFarben helped us modernise the layer between our systems, finance processes, and operational teams. Their ability to combine system integration, ERP expertise, and AI-led automation has improved efficiency, reduced manual work, and given us better control over critical back-office workflows.”
