The situation

What finance needed to control

Fresh pet food has batch, expiry and fulfilment constraints that a standard order flow does not capture. Production, inventory, storefront activity and finance need the same product and lot history.

As the business expanded, support issues and fulfilment exceptions also needed context from orders, products and batches. Separate tools made that investigation slow.

What TechFarben did

Built the operating path end to end

  • Rebuilt production, work-order and assembly processes around the actual manufacturing flow.
  • Connected commerce, inventory, fulfilment and the ledger so the transaction is entered once.
  • Added packaging, label, QR lot tracking and scanner-verified dispatch controls.
  • Deployed support and pattern-recognition workflows against live commerce and finance data.
  • Stayed on Managed Run for monitoring, issue response and continuous improvement.

The result

What changed in operation

Production and commerce now operate through one connected layer. Product, batch, order and finance context can be traced without reconstructing the path in spreadsheets.

The environment continues to change under a retained operating model, with approval gates and human ownership applied to new automation.

“TechFarben’s expertise in system integration and AI solutions has been instrumental in our digital transformation journey. Their commitment to understanding our unique needs and delivering tailored solutions has significantly enhanced our operational efficiency.”
