The situation

What finance needed to control

The group operated across ten entities, seven jurisdictions and four functional currencies. Commission and referral revenue followed different rules by entity, producer and arrangement. The close depended on manual consolidation and repeated checking.

Finance also needed board reporting and regulatory visibility that reconciled to the ledger. The existing automation worked, but the logic was difficult for the team to inspect or change.

What TechFarben did

Built the operating path end to end

  • Standardised the group chart, close calendar, intercompany rules and currency treatment.
  • Automated commission, referral, clawback and payables flows across the group.
  • Connected finance, CRM and banking data for certified reporting and board analysis.
  • Rebuilt the rule layer so finance can inspect and change the logic directly.
  • Added self-hosted monitoring inside the client network and retained the operating context through Managed Run.

The result

What changed in operation

The consolidated close moved from a fortnight to four days. Manual effort behind commission calculation reduced by 90%.

Finance can now trace a transaction from source to report, inspect the rules behind automated decisions and run a single group view across all entities.

“TechFarben took the time to understand how our finance operations actually run across jurisdictions, then built around that rather than forcing us to change systems. The result has been a faster, cleaner close and far less manual effort each month.”
